fruit flies, which are notorious pests in food establishments.
Will I have flies falling on my food when the spray is dispensed?
Flies pick up small particles of KONK floating in the air on the hairs of their bodies. This causes them to land on a wall or try to leave the area to get outside. Therefore, the bodies are found around base boards, on window ledges or on the floor.
Direct contact with enough KONK will quickly drop them, which is why it is important to keep the sprayer at least 8 feet away from food areas.
Is the automatic spray better than the hand-held sprays?
Both aerosols contain Pyrethrins. However, when using a hand held aerosol, consider the following:- an average 3 - 5 second burst creates a Pyrethrin level equivalent to the total emitted in 2-1/2 days of the automatic operation. Hand spraying usually leaves 90% of the amount sprayed
wasted.
